My name is Angie. I have set this website up for any of you out there who saw this about the disappearance of award-winning llama Beckett from Twycross Zoo and wanted to do something to help.
Thanks to everyone who has been sending in their photos, videos and observations. It'll all go towards finding that llama. Keep them coming!
#1Angie says:
Ok, here goes. Let's find that llama. This news item has appeared on some of the news channels overnight.

Apparently this was discovered on the floor in the enclosure:
#2llamalover02 says:
I can't believe this! I was at the zoo yesterday looking at the gorgeous creatures. I took some photos but I can't see anything weird in them.
#3llamalicious says:
I love those llamas. I go every single week and see Beckett – he's my favourite of all the llamas at Twycross. Have a look at this vid of him and his friends.
He looked so happy.
#4llamakarma says:
I heard Twycross has meerkats – could they have dug the tunnel? I know they have large underground colonies.
Maybe it was a plot that they had set up with the llamas? A bid for freedom?
#5larmerfarmer says:
I think that's unlikely, llarmakarma. Look at the size of the hole that was dug.
I doubt even a colony of meerkats could have achieved that.
#6fluffycamel says:
Was in Covent Garden earlier – this isn't it is it?
#7JohnDownes says:
I went to Twycross today with my school class. There are news crews everywhere, even hiding in the bushes!
I hope they help in finding the llama.
#8gd769 says:
I was there today too – they are asking for information when you go through the entrance gates

and this guy
was there keeping an eye on one of the mud hills that appeared.
#9detectllama says:
Has anyone looked at the map of the zoo?

Somehow they tunnelled all the way from Car Park A to the llama enclosure. That's pretty impressive! I think heavy machinery must have been involved.
#10beckettfan says:
I found these photos last night of the last time I saw Beckett. He used to peer over that fence at the female Vicunas in the next enclosure.

#11ndbz says:
The news is talking about this shifty looking guy hanging around the zoo the day before. They reckon he looks like Eoin Colfer, who is the guy that wrote the Artemis Fowl book www.artemisfowl.co.uk
#12twycrosslocal says:
I was there when they were filming one of the zookeepers for the news. Think she was called Liz.

And also got this photo of one of the mounds.
